The brief from SRR (part of Sims Limited and was a client from the Business Capstone unit at QUT) was to recommend key markets for SRR’s major products; develop a marketing plan for each market; and provide an evaluation framework for the pilot project.

Royal Flying Doctor Service

RFDS, a client from the Marketing Capstone unit at QUT, wanted to diversify their revenue stream by launching a first aid kit to be sold online. My responsibilities included researching an appropriate target market and product USP; developing a campaign strategy and promotion tactics; and creating graphics for the final report.

QUT Data Visualisation Project

As part of the Digital Media Analytics coursework at QUT, I collected over 10,000 tweets containing the keyword “save Australia”, as the topic of NYC protests against Australia’s lockdowns and vaccination mandates became trending on Twitter in early October 2021. This project aimed to understand how the public perceives Australia’s pandemic responses, by examining user conversions and sentiments toward the issue.

Herby Harvest

QUTopia is a virtual market simulation from the Marketing Planning and Management unit at QUT. Our team, as a business, had to develop a product that can be sold at the 2-day marketplace.

As a result, Herby Harvest was born. With a mission to bring customers a fun and rewarding experience of growing their own herbs from home, these DIY herb-growing kits contain everything needed to start a home-grown mint, basil, or parsley garden.

Viet Soul Restaurant

As part of the coursework Services Marketing coursework at QUT, I performed an audit on Viet Soul Restaurant to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the restaurant’s 7Ps (product, price, place, promotion, process, people, and physical evidence).

A service blueprint was created to outline Viet Soul’s operations and pinpoint potential areas for service failure. Recommendations were then proposed to enhance service quality and customer loyalty.
